Dearest Nancy,
To have known love with Elvin, what a treasure, the second time around.
Many of us do not have that experience. So I hope that the good memories tide you and the family through this difficult time. Better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all.
He is at peace. He has made the journey. It is the family that needs the support, from the shock of someone you love being taken away. It is never easy for the loving family to go through the grieving time until the grieving time is past, and the acceptance takes it's place.

I was so sorry to hear about Elvin's death. I didn't know him very well, but he always seemed a happy, contented man when we met. My sincere sympathy to Nancy, Don, Laurie and Charlotte and all the rest of the family. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Elvin will be missed.
