Phoebe La Hay at 96 years past peacefully into the arms of her Lord Jesus on December 30th, 2024. Born in Mimico ON, on April 28th, 1928, to Thelma and Frank Cleland. Their fourth child, Phoebe was one of 8 siblings. Granville, Bob, Ken - Mary, Thelma, Paul and Elizabeth. Phoebe was married to and passionately in love with Clare for almost 60 years before he passed in 2008. She had 6 children that cherished her dearly, Philip (Arlene), Tom (Margo)(both deceased), Deborah (Don) Longmire, Dan (Julie), Becky (Marvin deceased), Paul (Jackie). Blessed with 21 Grandchildren and many Great Grandchildren. A Faithful believer in the Gospel of Jesus, she lived His love to others everyday. She was a little adventurous and always curious and enjoyed travelling with Dad. Mom was very talented, making things like the most intricate wood dollhouse with furnishings, to grand children's clothes. Her paintings and drawings were beautiful and funny little sketches on paper cups, and napkins that may still be hung in the Manor's kitchen. Tiverton Park Manor was moms’ home for the last 6 years where she enjoyed her daughter Debbie as her close neighbour. You will be missed, remembered and cherished by all those you touched. Benner Funeral Services have been entrusted with services. Visitation will be at First Baptist Church in Fort Erie on Tuesday Jan 7th, 2025 from 6-8 pm and again on Wednesday January 8th, 2025 at 10 am till the start of the funeral at 11am. Interment to follow at Bertie Cemetery.
