Lorna Powers donated to First Baptist Church
Thursday, January 2, 2025
The Powers family sends their sincere condolences on the recent passing of your Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. As a family we spent many happy times together, camping, March Break in Kapuskasing and of course the family reunions. Our Mom Mary was very close to Aunt Phoebe as well and regaled us with many tales of their childhood in Mimico. Love to all! David Powers and his family, Lorna Powers and Brad Powers and his family.

Dear LaHay Family, I am so sorry for the loss of your sweet Mom. I will forever remember her kindness towards me and her smile. When His Signature Singers came to the church, Phoebe was part of the ladies group that made sure there was something available for the singers and the Baptist Church's goodies were always the rave! I am so pleased to see that she lived to be 96. In 2 Corinthians 1:3-4,Paul writes, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God." My sincere sympathies, Dee Dee
