Kathy was much loved and will be dearly missed. One of the sweetest Saints I’ve known! Kathy and I became the closest of friends when my husband. Bob and I started going to Golden Harvest about 29 ago. And even after leaving Golden Harvest, we continued our friendship and serving the Lord together in various ministries, the latest being the Walking Stick Ministry, through the Fellowship Of Christan Farmers Canada. Kathy was always a lot of fun, easy to laugh with and truly a godly example of what it means to live for Jesus! She has left a huge hole in our hearts, but I am comforted by knowing we WILL meet again!
Our deepest condolences to Charlene, Donny, and all of your family. You are in our thoughts and prayers, from Kelly and Bob Foster

Our hearts and prayers go out to Kathy's friends, family, and church family, from South Niagara Life Ministries. Our team will sorely miss her sweet spirit and her participation in SNLM's annual Walk & Roll-a-thon (she participated 2007-2023). Each year she earned an event reward but she's now received her ultimate reward; being home in the presence of Jesus - her Lord & Saviour.

My deepest condolences to the family of Kathy. I didn’t know Cathy that well, but what I didn’t know of her was that she was a faithful servant of the Lord her faith met so much to her. Her and her sister Charlene has been attending our yoga classes for the last year. She will be missed by all of us. May you have peace to know that she is with Her mother and her loving FATHER. MUCH LOVE, JUDY ZIMMERMAN

When I think of Kathy, the first word that comes to mind is "faithful". I really appreciated her faithful friendship to my Mom for so many years. Kathy was not only a faithful friend but was also faithful to her family, to her church, and most of all to her Lord and Savior. The verses that come to mind when I think of Kathy are "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, by unto all them also that love his appearing." 2 Timothy 4:7,8
I want to extend my sympathies to Kathy's family and church family as I know she will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Kathy was a lovely summer next door neighbor for 25 yrs.
She had a deep faith and a gentle soul. When I last saw her, the day we left our house for the final time, she asked if she could say a prayer for our safe travels back to Texas. We hugged goodbye. Rest in Peace Kathy.

I met Kathy through my mother, Bernice Ruch. At that time, she was a hairdresser and would come to my Mom's residence and do her hair. She was such a personable lady and my Mom thought very highly of Kathy. Later, we connected again through her sister, Charlene and it was so nice to see her attend church with her sister and others at Trinity. Alot of people will surely miss her.

Kathy was truly a woman of great prayer. There she was at the Prayer meeting on Wednesday with no hint of her going home bringing the needs of others before the Lord. She simply believed that God would provide and He does. Jean and her would meet and pray for the concern of others and as health failed they woud spend that time on the phone. Who will carry the torch?

Kathy was such a faithful and loyal friend to our mother Berenice Sauer in her later years. When Mom no longer felt safe driving, Kathy would drive Mom to lunch after Sunday servcies and when Mom entered the retirement home and then the nursing home, Kathy was a very faithful visitor. In addition to her weekly visits to Mom, Kathy would always make sure her hair was done. Mom was always so appreciative of Kathy and valued her compnionship. May God bless you Kathy for your good works on this earth!

She taught my boys on Sundays at church. Unbelievable woman of faith. An absolute prayer warrior. She will be missed. It’s not goodbye but rather see you later with this one. She’s home.

Kathy Washburn exemplified what being a believer in Christ was and never missed an opportunity to tell others of the free gift of Salvation. She touched so many lives including my own. She selflessly prayed for everything, something I learned from her was to pray with unceasing. Pray at all times and expect answers in Gods good timing. She was the light in a dark world and I shall miss my Sister in Christ but she is in a far, far better place because she is with Her Saviour. Rest dear Sister

Heaven has gained a beautiful soul but Earth has suffered a grievous loss. Kathy was Sister, Auntie , precious Friend and spiritual Mother to hundreds and maybe even thousands while she lived among us. She exemplified the Lord in thought , word and deed. She loved without measure, and gave all she had to better the lives of others. Resting in the arms of our Saviour...she is at peace. Till we meet again on Heaven's shore Kathy..Love you forever, Bill and Kathy Foster

We are shocked to read this. Kathy said a special reflection at my cousin, Mabel Dekker's, funeral last Monday May 13th. It was a wish of Mabel's that Kathy spoke and she did such a great tribute to Mabel. They will be meeting in heaven and continue their friendship. Our sympathies to Kathy's family
