Obituary of Josef Konrad Nepp

Nepp, Josef 'Joe' 

It is with broken hearts we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved husband, father and grandpa on Friday, December 8, 2023 at the Douglas Memorial Hospital.  Born in Hirschhorn, Germany to parents Rudolf and Elizabeth Nepp. 

Survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Dianne (nee Noble). Will be deeply missed by his daughters Michelle Nepp-Wirag ( Tim) and Danielle Nepp (Mike Pittaway). Joe cherished his precious granddaughter Emily Wirag and welcomed with open arms Mady Pittaway. 

Sadly missed by his sister Marian Brown, brother-in-law Larry Noble and his wife Marion MacLean as well as by his nieces Louise, Kelly, Shannon, Erin and Sarah. Pre deceased by his parents Rudolf and Elizabeth Nepp, in-laws Cyril and Marie Noble and brother-in-law Ray Brown. 

Special thank you to Dr. Scher and the Palliative team at Douglas Memorial for their care and compassion, Bayshore and St. Elizabeth support staff for their kindness, Melissa Van Tuyl from ALS Canada for her on going support, understanding and compassion, Kevin Wallace and John Walpole at Bridges Community Health for their compassion and assistance through out this complex illness.  We love and cherish you all. 

Arrangements entrusted to Benner Funeral Services. Cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. George Roman Catholic Church, 56 Ridgeway Road, Crystal Beach, on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Snyder, ON.
