Miskolczi, Elmer
Surrounded by love and his family, Elmer passed away on Saturday July 15th, 2023 at the age of 94. Devoted husband of over 76 years to Lorraine (nee Minor). Proud father of Sandra (Wayne) Kozar, John Cook, Tim (Tracie), Terry (Nancy) and Ted (Maureen). Dedicated grandfather of 11 and loved by all his great grandchildren. Sadly missed by his brother Frank (Andrea). Predeceased by a daughter in law Judy as well siblings John, Emerick, Steve, Toni, Joe, Betty, Anne and Agnes.
While family was always most important, Elmer always found time to donate his skills to a variety of things. His efforts on behalf of the Friends of the Creek, Fort Erie Conservation Club, Peoples Memorial United Church and many minor sports teams were often recognized with awards of appreciation.
Our appreciation goes out to Dr. Scher and the wonderful staffs of Garrison Place and Douglas Memorial Hospital who all provide such compassionate and professional care.
Benner Funeral Services, entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Thursday July 20th from 5-8 pm. Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel on Friday morning at 11 o’clock. Those that wish to make a contribution in memory of Elmer, please consider the Fort Erie Conservation Club (Ott Rd. Stevensville) in lieu of flowers.
