To Lori, I had the privilege of learning the Customs job (no College back then) from your Dad and many WW2 and Korean War veterans. These men and women were heroes to me growing up and it was wise to listen and learn. The stories of their service still stay with me especially the ones that don't find their way to the history books and maybe were enhanced a little along the way. I believe your Dad was an aircraft finisher and I remember long conversations about that. As an Air Cadet and for over 40 years an Reserve Air Force Officer (Cadet Instructor's Cadre) your Dad and I had a common interest in Flying. He had his pilot licence for many years but it wasn't kept current He was pretty excited one day when he passed his medical and started flying again. When he laughed, he did out loud and we laughed with him. He was a good man Lori. He will be missed.

Dear Lori….I have fond memories of your father, not just from working with him so many years ago, but also from my childhood as we often ended up watching parades in Fort Erie from your driveway on Central Ave. Our fathers were “flying” friends and would have their love of airplanes to talk about while the rest of us would watch the parade. Your Dad and I had a few discussions about that at work. From our family to yours, we offer our deepest condolences.
