From the family of Arthur Lee Sr. We remember Dan as a great friend and fellow Seabee of the Island X 8 members. We know there is a great meeting place in heaven for him and that honored group that have gone before. To Dan’s family we offer our heartfelt condolences.
Dan, your humorous calls will be missed.
The entire Lee family

Having grown up on Findlay Crescent, those on the crescent will no doubt have many fond memories of Mr. Candella. He was one of the larger voices in the neighbourhood and was always busy working on a new project or finishing up an old one. Being a close group, we were always helping each other, in one way or another. Mr. Candella will be missed not only as a father, a husband, a veteran but also as the great neighbour he was. From Robert Logan, formerly of 17 Findlay Crescent.

I met Dan many years ago when we worked together briefly at Horton Steel. He made me laugh everyday!
I thought the absolute world of him. His family was very dear to him, you could tell by his stories about them.
Thinking of you at this sad time.

My Dad was also a member of the SeaBee’s and Dan was a fixture around my parents’ home. I was fortunate to see him occasionally and he always had great stories to share. He loved to tell a story! He was full of energy and so much fun. My parents travelled with Dan and Janice and it was always an adventure! He beamed when talking about his children and grandchildren. He will be missed

Our heartfelt sympathy to the family. "SeaBee Dan" - as we affectionally called him at Buffalo Niagara Honor Flight, will be missed. He and his son Dean went on a Buffalo Niagara Honor - September 2017. Dan was an advocate of our organization and encouraged many veterans to participate. He provided us with many donations of cookies and chips. May the light of love be with you all and remember, Dan will always be in your heart, as he is in ours.

I was so fortunate to have shared some wonderful conversations and receive great advice while working in the Commercial Building at the Peace Bridge. We may have shared a few laughs as well. I missed him after his retirement. My sincere condolences to you all.
