The family of Roy announces his passing on February 22, 2024 at Douglas Memorial Hospital. Loving husband to Mary of 68 years. Much loved father to Kim and Lori. Cherished grandpa to Steve (Lesia) and Melissa (Spencer). Doting great grandpa to Kaley, Addilyn, Gavin and Owen. Roy is survived by his sisters Jeanne and Janet and is predeceased by 10 siblings. Dearly remembered by in laws Joyce Gotts (Sam) and Fred Gladwell. The family would like to thank Dr. Scher and all the nurses at Douglas Memorial for going above and beyond for Roy’s care. A visitation will commence on Tuesday February 27th, 2024 at Golden Harvest Baptist Church (3130 Point Abino Rd N, Fort Erie) from 12 PM until the time of the funeral service at 1 PM. Donations in memory may be made to the Fort Erie SPCA.
