Obituary of Omar Seburn

Beloved husband, father and grandfather, went to be with his Lord on March 13th, 2010 in his 83rd year after a brief illness. Loving husband and best friend of Janet. Proud father of Kathleen Jane (Richard) Kazakoff, Timothy Allen (Marcie), Ronald Craig and Rebekah Lynn O??â„¢Leary. Cherished grandfather of Matt (caden), Sarah (Josh), Rachel (Phil), Heather , Jeremy, Jennifer (Josh), Kristina, Jeremy (Heidi), Andrew (Liz), Jonathan, Julia, Joseph and Elijah. Sadly missed by his sisters and brothers Belva (Bruce) McCallum, Ken(Carol), Art, Chuck, Glenda Laur, Clair, Lewis(Isabelle)as well as many nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Elva Seburn and brothers Glen and Marvin A faithful, loving and loyal servant of his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Laverne was a former deacon, a longtime and active member of First Baptist Church Fort Erie, a former employee of Atlas Steel, Welland, Fort Erie Dairy and Rich Products Fort Erie Laverne was well-known as a volunteer at the Douglas Memorial Hospital Chronic Care Ward, Gilmore Lodge and Crescent Park Lodge. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 and at First Baptist Church (Bertie and Central) from 12 pm until the time of service at 1 pm on Tuesday. Interment to follow in Bertie Brethren in Christ Church Cemetery.
