Obituary of Gladys Kodobocz Cote

Surrounded by love, Gladys journey ended at Northland Pointe in Port Colborne on August 29th, 2019 at the age of 93. Predeceased by her husbands Eugene Cote and William Kodobocz. Cherished mother of Eugene (Tish) Cote, Dorina (Doug) Arthur and Mark (Mary) Cote. Loving grandmother of Paul (Sonia) Cote, Scott (Richard) Cote and Bradley (Ashley) Arthur. Great grandmother to Saffi and Piper Cote and her newest great grandson George Arthur. She will be sadly missed by her sister Marie Chuckry and Howard Bauer as well as many special nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents William and Louisa Bauer as well as siblings Lenora, Rose, Eileen, Beatrice, Robert, Norman, Leonard, Joseph, Edward and Raymond. Gladys was a veteran and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 71 for over 50 years. She retired from Douglas Memorial Hospital where she worked as a dietitian. The family thank all the staff at Northland Pointe for their excellent dedication to Gladys's care along with Dr. Daniels. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Sunday September 8th from 10 am until the time of the service in the Chapel at 11 o'clock. If so desired, donations to Palliative Care at Northland Pointe Gladys always said "a smile never cost you a thing".her infectious smile will be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing her.
