Obituary of Joan Moore

Passed away peacefully on Friday, May 12th, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital at the age of 88. Loving wife of 66 years to James "Jim" Moore. Devoted mother of Laurie (Dave) Nash, Stephen Moore (Kit Weir), and Kerry Moore (Brent Neal). Sadly missed by her grandchildren Greg, Julie, Carly, Erica, Maggie, and Caeden. Great Grandchildren Finn & Ashlin Joan was a founding member of the Fort Erie Figure Skating Club and engaged in lengthy efforts to ensure its success. She spent many years working as an administrative assistant for Fleet Industries. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. A Celebration of Joan's Life will take place at a later date If so desired, in memoriam contributions to the Fort Erie SPCA would be appreciated by the family as Joan was a great animal lover.
