Obituary of Robert Fraser

Fraser: Robert Leroy After a courageous battle with cancer ('Cancer Sucks') while surrounded by loved ones, Robert went to be with His Lord on Wednesday October 21st, 2015 at the age of 62. Devoted husband of Deborah Grimes the love of his life, even exceeded by his beloved Maple Leafs and Blue Jays. Cherished middle son of Millie and the late Burt Fraser. Predeceased by older brother John Boy. Fondly remembered by sister in law Cathy (Danny). Sadly missed by his much younger sister Cindy (Bob Perkes) Fraser. He will always be remembered as the teasing uncle of nephews C.J., Chad, Lucas, Jesse, nieces Jenna, Tanya and their families. The Grimes family were his new outlaw family and they will cherish their time with him. Predeceased by his loving aunts Jane Lamorie and Margaret Benner. A special thank you to the compassionate staff of the Douglas Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Unit, especially Dr. Scher. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie have been entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Sunday October 25th from 2-4 & 6-9. Funeral Service to celebrate Bob's life will take place at the Port Colborne Brethren in Christ Church (10641 Hwy # 3) on Monday at 11 am. A private burial service will preceed the funeral service. Bob fundraised diligently to help families in Haiti. In recognition of this, memorial donations to the Falls View Brethren in Christ Church Haiti Fund to a build a nursery in his honour would be appreciated by the family.
