Obituary of Violet Barber

Barber : Violet Violet Barber passed away on August 27th, 2015 at the Douglas Memorial Hospital at the age of 87. Wife of the late Harry Barber. Loving mother of Tom (Debbie), John (Wendy) and Michael (Lori). She is the cherished grandmother of Tom and Pranita, Cheryl and Dino, Debbie and Phil, William and Angela, Tad and Val, Jo-Ann and Marc, Phillip and Sharon, Rosie and Paul and great grandmother of Bailee Eric, Ethan, Peyton, Maya, Deryk, Julia, Michael, Matthew, Kaitlyn, Lizzie, Mason, Bryce and Great Great grandchildren William, Annarose and Aislyn. Predeceased by her son Alan. Violet enjoyed her time with her late husband Harry (a WWII veteran) at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 71 where she was a member of the Auxiliary. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., entrusted with private funeral arrangements. If so desired, donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund would be appreciated by the family.
