Obituary of Tony Di Paolo

Di Paolo: Anthony Michael Tony passed away at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Thursday June 18th, 2015 at the age of 89. Loving husband of Maureen. Cherished father of Michael, Joseph, Guy and Peter (Kim). Proud grandfather of Zachary, Matthew, Jordan, Alyssa and Julia. Sadly missed by his brother Frank (Donna). Born in Carpineto, Italy Anthony immigrated to Canada and lived in Montreal, Toronto and Fort Erie. A graduate of St Michael's College of the University of Toronto, Tony's Life work was as an educator, teaching French, Italian and Mathematics. Tony will be remembered by the many student's and colleagues lives that he touched during his career as a teacher at Fort Erie Secondary School. He was a member of St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6-8 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday morning at 10 o'clock at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church. Interment to follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. If so desired, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
