Obituary of Dr. Maria Rousseva

A funeral will be held on Saturday March 28th at 11:30 to Celebrate the life of Dr. Maria Rousseva. Cherished wife of Dimo Roussev, mother of Dr. Rossen Roussev and grandmother to Andrea Roussev, passed away peacefully at Douglas Memorial hospital of Fort Erie on March 21, 2015 at age 79. Dr. Rousseva had a distinguished career in internal medicine in Germany, reaching the position of Division Chief. After immigrating to Canada in 1978, she attended the University of Western Ontario residency program in oncology and proceeded to serve the community as a Radiation Oncologist at Princess Margaret Hospital. She was a passionate gardener, a poet and took great joy in entertaining at her home on the Niagara Parkway in Fort Erie. She will be greatly missed by all of us.
