Obituary of Eleanor Clemence

After a brief illness Eleanor passed away at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on January 2, 2015 at the age of 90. Predeceased by her husband Frank, son Rick and daughter in law Maureen. A lifelong resident of Fort Erie, Eleanor was an intricate part of Clemence Glass, located on Niagara Boulevard. Eleanor leaves behind her five sons, Gary (Louise), Rollie (Sherrie), Ron, Dennis (Valerie) and Craig (Val) as well as her grandchildren Lexi (Adam), Amanda (Aaron), Erin (Mike) Samantha, Jamie (Ruth), Darlene (Alan), Danny (Jenn), Eddie, Robert (Dana) and great granddaughter Ivy. Eleanor greatly enjoyed gardening, and spending Wednesday afternoons with her 'girls". She was a generous contributor to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation and the Heart and Stroke Foundation. The family extend thanks to the nursing staff at Greater Niagara General Hospital for their patience and kind treatment of Eleanor in her final days. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Tuesday January 6th from 2-4 & 7-9. Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel at 11 o'clock Wednesday morning. Cremation will follow. If so desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
