Obituary of Barbara Marr-Anguish

Marr - Anguish : Barbara Barbara passed away at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Sunday December 14th, 2014 at the age of 55. Cherished wife of John. Proud mother of Chris and Justin. Much loved sister of Jayne (Jim) Carman, Larry (Sharon) Marr, Kate (Mike) Strik and Linda (Gerrie) Schut. Also survived by her brothers in law, Tom (Cathy) Anguish and Roy Anguish and many nieces and nephews. Barbara was a registered dietician and began her career at the Douglas Memorial Hospital. In 2000-present, she worked in the long-term senior care facilities for the Region of Niagara. She volunteered as the treasurer of the Navy League Lake Erie Shore Branch and in 2011 was awarded an Environmental Award by the Region of Niagara for her efforts in helping to keep Fort Erie beautiful. She enjoyed traveling, cruises and shows. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Friday December 19th from 2-4 & 6-9 and again on Saturday from 11 am until the time of funeral in the Chapel at 1 pm. Cremation will follow. If so desired, donations to the M.S. Society or the Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated by the family.
