Obituary of Elli Winger

Winger: Ellayn Jane "Elli" (nee: Michael) Peacefully after a courageous battle, Elli passed away at the Douglas Memorial Hospital on November 3rd, 2014 at the age of 57. Beloved wife of Thomas. Loving mom of Kathy (Peace) Kullerkupp and Kerrie (Chris) Calla. Proud Nana of Addy, Bailey and Alex. She will be sadly missed by her mother Elsie Michael, her brother Ronnie (Kathy) Michael and her sisters Laurie (Mike) Carver and Maureen (Ted) Miskolczi, nephews Teddy (Sandy) and Ronnie (Carolyn). Also survived by the members of the Winger family, her other nieces and nephews, and extended family. Predeceased by her father Roswell. The family extend appreciation to Dr. Scher and the staff of the Palliative Care Unit at Douglas Memorial Hospital for their compassionate and professional care and to Dr. Leveque and the staff at Walker Family Cancer Centre for their support and attention. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9. Funeral Services will be held in the chapel on Friday at 11 am. If so desired, donations to the Red Roof Retreat or the McMaster Children's Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
