Obituary of Marjorie Benner

Benner : Marjorie Hazel It is with deep sadness that the children of Marjorie "Marge" Benner announce her passing on October 4th, 2014 at the age of 83. She is back in the loving arms of her dearly missed husband, Donald "Sam" who predeceased her in 1977. Predeceased by her parents, Jack and Hazel Nunn and her brother Wellington "Duke". She leaves behind her son Scott (Brenda) Benner, daughters Yvonne Lauder and Julie Benner. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Ryan, Samantha (Chad), Paige, Nicole Alex and great grandchildren Reilly and Leo. Mom's inward and outward beauty with a great sense of class touched everyone that knew her. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Thursday morning from 11 am until the time of service in the Chapel at noon. A reception will follow. If so desired, donations to the Palliative Care Unit at the Douglas Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the family. The Family wish to thank Dr. Kim Scher and the staff of Maple Park Lodge and Douglas Memorial Hospital for their personal, professional and dignified care. The love of her family as a caring devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother will leave a huge void in our lives, but our hearts are comforted by knowing Mom is now with Dad, finally, forever and ever.
