Obituary of Devina Putney

Passed away peacefully at the Douglas Memorial Hospital on September 11th, 2014 in her 80th year. Beloved wife of the late Gordon. Sadly missed by her children, Paul (Susan) and Kimberly Putney and their families. Cherished friend and companion of Patrick Ryan. Always in the heart of Tammy Brooks who she loved as a daughter. Fondly remembered by the other members of the "Thursday Night Social Committee". Davina was employed by Horton CBI but is better known as the hostess at the Prince of Wales dining room at the Fort Erie Racetrack. She and Gord owned and operated Sunset Golf Course for 39 years as well as Gilmore Storage and Putney Sales and Rentals. Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service to celebrate Davina's life on Wednesday September 17th at 1 o'clock at Greenwood Cemetery.
