Obituary of Mark Ballard

BALLARD, Mark Kevin: Passed away on Saturday August 23rd, 2014 at the age of 58. An amazing man, father, husband, brother, uncle, and friend. A proud member of C.O.P.A. So full of life, and love and laughter. He will be sadly missed by his soulmate Monica Bereti, daughter Sheena (Kyra) Petrie, sister Anne (Russ) Sansone, brother Steve Ballard, and his many nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by parents Jim and Joan Ballard, brother Peter, sister Susan, and brother Rick. His life's journey brought him back to the waterways he loved. Family and friends will be received at Benner Funeral Services, Fort Erie, Ontario, on Wednesday August 27th from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A celebration of Mark's life will be held on Thursday in the chapel at 11 a.m., with burial to follow at McAffee Cemetery.
