Obituary of Barrie Golding

Golding : Barrie James "Buda" Barrie made his family laugh right up until his passing at the St. Joseph's Hospital in Hamilton on May 15th, 2014 at the age of 72. Loving husband of Maggie. Proud father of Jackie (John) Deiter, Russell (Judy) Golding and Erica Golding. Cherished and proud Papa of Russell Jr., Haley, Briley and Brooklyn. Sadly missed by his sister-in-laws June Casemore and Ginger Tunstall and his many dear friends and extended family both here and in England. A proud and active member of the Fort Erie Community. Barrie was the current chairman of the Fort Erie Credit union, a past chairman of the Douglas Memorial Hospital Board, Fort Erie Friendship Trail and Winterfest. In keeping with Barrie's wishes, friends and family are invited to a "Buda Party" to celebrate his life on Wednesday May 21st from 2-4 pm at the Bridgewater Golf Course. To honour Barrie's memory and in recognition of the outstanding care provided by Dr. Allen, Janet and the wonderful staff, donations to the Firestone Clinic at St. Joseph's Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
