Obituary of Charles Jones

Charlie passed away at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Sunday January 5th, 2014 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Theresa (nee Yando). Sadly missed by his sister in law Emilie Yando. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his siblings and parents. Charlie worked for Fleet Industries and was an active member of St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He served with Big Brothers and Sisters and worked with and on behalf of the Refugee community of Fort Erie. Charlie served in the British Armed Forces and was a member of Royal Canadian Legion Br. #71. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Wednesday January 8th from 4 - 7 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church on Thursday morning at 11 am. If so desired, donations to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
