Michelena was born in Accadia, Foggia, Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1951. She loved Canada, cooking, enjoyed and loved all of her family. She especially enjoyed large family gatherings. She worked in many industries with her longest employment at Markel Electric. She always listened to all her children and grandchildren's trials and successes and was never short of advice and counsel.
