Obituary of Beverley Berhalter

Berhalter: Beverley ("nee Horne") Bev passed away at Gilmore Lodge on Wednesday July 31, 2013 at the age of 86. Loving wife of over 55 years to James. Proud mother of Kim (Bob Jackson) Metzger, Rick (Sharon) Berhalter, Jane Haggerty, Kerry (Andy) Berhalter-Whalen and Jim (Sunngan) Berhalter. Cherished grandmother of Sherri, Jim, Tim, Tar and Julia and great grandmother of Jennifer, Kaitlin, Emily, Rose and Stellan. Also survived by her brother Terry Marr, nieces and many cousins. A loving and caring person, she will be remembered by many as the Attendance Counsellor for Fort Erie and area schools for over 23 yrs. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave. Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Tuesday August 6th from 11 am until the time of service at noon in the Benner Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Gilmore Lodge Resident’s Council would be appreciated by the family. The family extend their heartfelt appreciation for the ongoing compassionate care provided by Dr. Che and the outstanding staff of Gilmore Lodge.
