My thoughts and prayers are with my Canadian family at this sad time. Although I may shed a tear at the passing of my Canadian mother, I also have a smile too at all the wonderful memories I have of her. Also, your mum was an exceptionally kind woman with a big heart who helped me through some difficult times when I was a stranger from Scotland living in Canada.
