Obituary of J. Michael Lalor

Surrounded by his family, Mike passed away at the Welland Hospital on December 4th 2012 at the age of 78. Loving husband of Anne. Proud father of Beth and Dave Fowler, Bernie Lalor Morton and Bob Morton, Michael and Leanne Lalor. Cherished grandfather of Michael and Morgan Fowler, Adam Fowler, Jordan Lalor and Maclean Lalor. Sadly missed by great grandchildren Kade and Ella Fowler, his extended family and his many friends. Mike retired from Fleet Industries and was a respected member of the Fort Erie community. He served on the Board of Directors of the YMCA, St. Michael’s Church Parish Council, a long-time volunteer with the Greater Fort Erie Minor Hockey Association and an inductee on the Fort Erie Sports Wall of Fame. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave. Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2-4 & 6-9. Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church on Saturday morning at 11 o’clock. Cremation will follow. If so desired, donations to C.O.P.E. or to St. Michael’s Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
