Obituary of Emma McDonald

Peacefully with family at her side at Maple Park Lodge On Saturday November 3, 2012 at the age of 97 years. Emma M. McDonald, beloved wife of the late James Archibald McDonald (2003). Cherished mother of Archie McDonald, the late Rev. Richard McDonald, Gary McDonald (Terryl), Joan (Garnet) Beteau and Marilyn (Buster) McAfee. Loving grandmother of Deborah (Mike), Garrett (Karen), Gerald (Aimee), Bryan, Greg (Marie-Lou), Robert, Jennifer and Joe. Great-grandmother of Justin, Courtney, Zachary, Olivia, Janelle, Ben, Nate, Thomas, Cole, Sydney, Zoe and Jake. Benner Funeral Services 1105 Benner Ave. Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-5 p.m. Vigil prayers and Rosary will be held at 4:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass to celebrate Emma’s life will follow at 6 o’clock at St. George Roman Catholic Church, 56 Ridgeway Road, Crystal Beach. Reception will follow in the church hall. Rite of Committal will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, 8361 Yonge Street, Toronto on Friday morning at 11:30. Those who wish may make a memorial donation to St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank at St. George Church, Crystal Beach in memory of Emma.
