Obituary of George "Jerry" Davison

George A. (Jerry) Davison, October 11, 1931 - October 10, 2012 of Ridgeway passed away peacefully at Douglas Memorial Hospital with his wife and children at his side. Born in Port Colbourne he lived a life dedicated to his family, friends and community. George leaves behind his wife of 56 years Lena, his daughter Debbie (John) Eden and his three sons Mark (Mary Ann), John and Peter (Lisa). He will be a fondly remembered grandfather by his five grandsons Mark, Branden, Reid, Mitchell and Braiden. George will also be dearly missed by his sisters Betty Brennan, Pat Bisnett and their families. Special thanks to Dr. C. Che and the nursing staff of the Douglas Memorial hospital for the exceptional care given to George throughout his illness. Friends are invited to call at BENNER FUNERAL SERVICES, 1105 Benner Ave. Fort Erie. Visiting hours will be Friday 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. George Roman Catholic Church, Crystal Beach. Rite of committal will follow at Ridgeway Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers any memorial donations may be made to Douglas Memorial Hospital or The Canadian Cancer Society.
