I knew Helga through Doors Open Niagara and other events sponsored by the Bi-national Alliance. She had a great gift for kindness and genuine concern for others. It was a pleasure to work with her, and she will be missed.

I extend my heartfelt sympathies to Helga's family on her all too early passing. I had the pleasure of working with Helga (on behalf of Blessed Trinity Church in Buffalo) when we participated in Doors Open Niagara. She was always so pleasant and helpful, and certainly advanced our attempts to position our Landmark building as a cross border tourist attraction. I always enjoyed my time working with her on many events that overlapped the BTA and Canadian Consulate over the past few years.
