Obituary of Shirley Reichelt

Reichelt : Shirley E. Shirley Reichelt passed away surrounded with the love of her family at the Douglas Memorial Hospital on Sunday March 18th, 2012 in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late G. Victor Reichelt. Proud mother of Gordon (Theresa) Reichelt, Martha (Dave) Owen and Beth (Rick) Battista. Cherished grandmother of Jeff (Manami) Reichelt, Chris Reichelt, Sarah (Jace) Nyberg, Mary (Craig) Owen, Glen (Cait) Owen, Kate Battista and Nicole Battista. Also survived by her great granddaughter Avia Grace Nyberg. Shirley was a lifelong resident of Stevensville. She was an active participant in Faith Reformed Church of Black Creek and loved the social times and friendships that she made while quilting. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Services will be held in the Benner Funeral Chapel on Wednesday morning at 11 o’clock. Interment to follow in Doan’s Ridge Cemetery. If so desired, donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
