Obituary of Evelyn Traves

Traves: Mary Evelyn (Spencer) Evelyn passed away peacefully at the Douglas Memorial Hospital on Thursday February 16th, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Gordon Traves (1992). Predeceased by her son Richard in 1963. Cherished mother of Ken (Lynda) Traves , Shirley (John) Clark and James Traves. Proud Grandma of Brett (Stefanie) Traves, Tara Traves (Ryan Duchesne), Andrew Clark (Melissa Petersen), Owen Clark ( Laura Sather) and great grandma to Gwendolyn Clark and Maiya Traves. Dear sister of Barbara Eley. Predeceased by her sisters Margaret, Pearl and Jonquil. Mrs Traves was a lifelong member of Central Ave United Church Benner Funeral Services 1105 Benner Ave Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. Friends are invited to call on Friday February 24th, 2012 from 10:30am until time of service at 12 noon in the Benner Funeral Chapel. Interment to take place. In lieu of flowers please donate to the charity of your choice. A special thank you to Meals on Wheels and Caregivers of ParaMed that enriched her last years of life. Also a very special thank you to the Palliative Care Nursing staff at Douglas Memorial Hospital for all their care.
