Obituary of Andy French

FRENCH, Andy suddenly and unexpectedly on February 7th, 2012. Survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Gertie. Cherished father of Leon, Fern and Jeanine (Fred) Eade. Much loved "Poppa” of June Wolbert, Penny Wilson, Lori Noble, Dale Eade, Bill French and Michelle Nicholson. He will be deeply missed by 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. Andy is also survived by 3 brothers and 1 sister and is pre-deceased by 6 siblings. He was a proud sergeant in R.C.A.S.C. and enjoyed being an entertainer within the community with a love of playing the fiddle. He was a devoted Catholic to his beloved church and will be sadly missed by all. BENNER FUNERAL SERVICES (1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie) entrusted with arrangements. Visitation will take place Thursday February 9th, 2012 from 2—4pm and from 7—9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place from St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church (310 Central Ave. Fort Erie) on Friday February 10th, 2012 at 11am. Rite of Committal immediately following at Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Michael’s Parish; cards are available at the funeral home.
