Obituary of Elva Leadlay

Leadlay - Elva S. (Cormack) Elva passed away at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Monday January 10th, 2011. Beloved wife of Douglas. Proud mother of Gordon Cormack, Audrey (Dan Comrie) Cormack, Shirley Ann (Brian) Teal, Cynthia (Joe) Thebaud, Cheryl (Michael) O’Hara and Judy (Jeff) MacLean. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Jason (Kathie), Kate (Dean), Amanda (Greg), Sarah (Jason), Rebecca, Nicole, Marc, Morgan, Samantha, Kasey, Sheri (Chad) and great grandchildren Ryker, Amanda-Rae, Adam, Claire, Natalie, Joseph and Madison. Also survived by her brother Ken (Dorothy) Harris and sister Bonnie(Morley) Aitken. She will be fondly remembered by the members of the Leadlay family her step sons Sandy (Irene) Leadlay and Brian (Linda) Leadlay, grandchildren Donna, Marnie (Larry) and great granddaughter Brianna. Predeceased by her first husband Clark Cormack (1988) and infant daughter Arlene Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9. Funeral Services will be held in the Benner Funeral Chapel on Thursday morning at 11 o’clock. Interment to follow in Ridgeway Memorial Cemetery followed by a luncheon at Sherkston United Church.
