Obituary of William Walpole

Walpole: William William Walpole passed away at the Douglas Memorial Hospital on Tuesday November 1st at the age of 84. Loving husband of 63 years to Dianne. Proud father of Sharon (Dick) Sollen, Beverly (Bob) Hesse, Cheryl (Mark) De Vinney, Chilly “William” (Maria) Walpole and Richard (Carole) Walpole. Sadly missed by his 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Also survived by his sister Eva Passero and his brothers Albert, Eugene and Alvin. Predeceased by his brothers Ernest, Cecil, Herbert and Frederick. William served during WWII in the Royal Canadian Navy and was a member of Royal Canadian Legion Br. #71. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Thursday November 4th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Services will be held in the Benner Funeral Chapel on Friday morning at 10 am. Cremation to follow. If so desired, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Canadian Cancer Society or the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #71 Poppy Fund would be appreciated by the family.
