Obituary of Doug Campbell

Campbell, Douglas George After a courageous battle with cancer Doug passed away November 2nd, 2010 at the Douglas Memorial Hospital at 56 years of age. Loving husband of Judy (nee Coleman). Proud father of Alex Campbell. Beloved son of John Campbell (Anne), predeceased by his mother Mary. Cherished brother of Lee (Leon) Smith, Robin (Mark) Hall and Scott (Dairon) Campbell. Sadly missed by the members of the Coleman family, mother in law Estelle, Deanie (Richard) Dube, Sally (Gerry) Gentner, Tish (Eugene) Cote and Gerald "Teeter” Coleman. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and his many friends. Doug will be fondly remembered by many members and staff of Cherry Hill Country Club, of which he has been a member since a child. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. At Doug's request, cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends on Thursday November 4th from 6-9 pm. A service to celebrate Doug’s life will be held on Friday in the Benner Funeral Chapel at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Roswell Park Cancer Institute or the Greater Fort Erie Palliative Care would be appreciated by the family.
