Flagg: Norman F. After a brief illness, Norm passed away at the Welland Hospital on the 7th of September in his 78th year surrounded by the love and support of his family. Loving husband of Marlene (nee Benner) for 54 years. Proud father of Randy (Melanie) of Brantford, Bruce (Stacey) of Port Colborne, Darren (Janine) of Fort Erie and Cheryl (Peter) Conick of Selkirk. Sadly missed by his grandchildren, great grandchildren and his sister Dora Joan (Ronald) Lambert of Dunnville. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, his cousins, extended family and friends. Norm was well known for his enjoyment and promotion of Southern Gospel music. He served as the President of Open Arms Mission in Welland and attended the Brethren in Christ Church. Benner Funeral Services 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9. Funeral Services will be held in the Benner Funeral Chapel on Friday morning at 11 o’clock. Cremation to follow.
