Obituary of Betty Warner

Warner: Elizabeth L. “Betty” After a courageous struggle with cancer, Betty passed away peacefully on Monday June 7th at the Henderson Hospital in Hamilton. Loving wife and best friend of Charles. Beloved sister of Charles Hanes, George Hanes, Carol (Don) Taggart, Rosemary Hanes, Nora (Terry)Moore and Susan (Ray)McNamara. Sadly missed sister in law of, Frank (Carmen) Warner, Pearl Pepetti, Janice Warner, Linda (Don) Cannon, Virginia Barr, Linda Warner and Florie Warner. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, extended family and friends. A brave lady, champion of the underdog and friend to many, Betty will long be remembered. A special thanks to the ICU at Henderson Hospital, oncologist Dr. Hotte and Diane his aide in treatment trial as well as family Dr. Kim for their compassion and professionalism. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. In keeping with Betty’s wishes, cremation and a private funeral service will take place. If so desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
