Quaranta: Pasquale After a long battle with diabetes Pasquale died peacefully in his sleep on May 13th, 2010 at the Douglas Memorial Hospital. Survived by his loving wife Josephine, daughter Amalia (Robert) Rivet and grandchildren Christopher, Anthony and Eliana. Pasquale is also survived by brother-in-laws Michael (Anna) Annunziata, Anthony (Debbie) Annunziata and Angelo Annunziata and sister-in-law Anna (Don) Beauchamp. Also survived by his sister Maria (Antonio) Escolese and many nieces and nephews in Italy and Canada. Predeceased by sister-in-law Rose (Bill) Fenton. Predeceased by sisters Ada Sorentino, Rosa DeMartino, Anna Speranza and brothers Antonio and Giuseppe Quaranta. Pasquale worked with the District School Board of Niagara as a caretaker for 30 years. A proud member of the Italo-Canadian Club for over 50 years Benner Funeral Services 1105 Benner Ave Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 7-9pm and on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Prayers will be offered in the funeral home on Sunday at 3pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am on Monday at St Michael's Roman Catholic Church. Entombment to follow at Fairview Mausoleum in Niagara Falls. If so desired donations to the Diabetes Association or the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
