Obituary of Katherine Grace Schoenhals

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Kathy Schoenhals (nee Mabee) on Thursday August 1, 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer. Kathy was the beloved wife of William (Bill Schoenhals) and proud mother of Krista Hartman (Chris) and Julie Teal. Kathy was the daughter of Lorene Mabee and sister to Diane Robinson (Mike) Doug and Paul. Kathy was nana to Andrew Beam, Cameron Dunn, and Sarah Hartman and her extended family included Jennifer McAteer (Matt Whitley) Kiara, Alex, and Paige McAteer, Bill Corrie, Isaac and Jada Schoenhals. She is predeceased by her father Donald. Kathy and Bill loved going out for dinner and taking road trips. In lieu of flowers, Kathy and Bill request that you take your loved one for a special dinner and dedicate it in Kathy's memory. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie has been entrusted with arrangements. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Saturday August 10, 2019 at Benner Funeral Service beginning at 2:00pm. God speed Kathy.
