Obituary of Lois Jane Nevinger

Lois passed away at the Douglas Memorial Hospital on Friday July 26th, 2019 at the age of 70. Loving wife of Douglas for over 52 years. Cherished mother of Cheryl (Gary) Athoe and Michael (Anne Marie) Nevinger. Proud grandmother to Rachel, Drew, Lindsay, Michael, Carli, Claire and Michael. She is also survived by her grand dogs Max and Lulu. Predeceased by her parents Alma and C.R. "Dutch" Jackson and siblings Peter, Gary, Nancy, Thomas and Susan. Born in Fort Erie, she made lifelong friends while working for the IGA and driving school bus for Dunn the Movers. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Thursday August 1st from 1-3 & 6-9. Funeral services will be held in the chapel on Friday at 11 am. If so desired, donations to the Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
