Obituary of Sonya Gail Weaver

Surrounded by love, Sonya passed at the Douglas Memorial Hospital on June 29th, 2019 at the age of 61. Loving wife of Patrick. Cherished mother of Miranda (Nestor) and Brent (Lea). Sonya's license was BACKK05 reflecting the pride in being a grandmother to Brady, Alexander, Christian, Kash and Kolby. She will be sadly missed by brothers Robert (Judy) Anderson and Brian (Roberta) Anderson as well as her sister in law Angie (the late Michael) and many nieces and nephews. She touched the lives of many during her 44 years at RBC and as a Children's Liturgy leader at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church. Sonya will be sadly missed by her countless friends and co-workers. Benner Funeral Services entrusted with arrangements. Cremation will take place. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church on Saturday July 6th at 11 am. Friends are invited to meet with the family, to share stories and refreshments following Mass until 3:30 at The Plaice Restaurant.
