Obituary of Helen Margaret Forbes

Forbes, Helen Margaret (Alford) January 28, 1918 - January 28, 2019 passed away peacefully on her 101st birthday. Wife of the late George (Judd) Forbes (2002). Beloved mother of Judy Walker (Dan), Jean Heximer (Wayne) and Kathy Quiquero (Jack). Much loved Nana to her grandchildren, Susan (Mike), Jamie (Anette), Kristin (Mike), Kevin (Amy), Lisa (Brian), Jacqueline (Gary) and her great-grandchildren Ethan, Ashley, Brennan, Adelyn, Lily, Grace and Jacob. Pre-deceased by her parents Amherst and Eva Alford and her five siblings. Helen had many interests and leaves a legacy to her children and grandchildren: her love of socializing with her many friends, travel, swimming and golf, crafts and sewing and especially music. She loved not only her family but the many caregivers at Maple Park Lodge and Willoughby Manor. As per Helen's wishes, cremation has taken place with a celebration of life to follow at a later date.
