Obituary of Achille Pasquale Giovanni Gianfrancesco

GIANFRANCESCO, Achille - It is with great sadness that the family of Achille "John" Gianfrancesco announce his peaceful passing at home on Sunday, December 23rd, 2018 at the age of 79. John is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife and best friend of 55 years, Helen Gianfrancesco. Cherished father of Christina Gianfrancesco, Julia (John) Nitsche, and Darryl (Corrina) Gianfrancesco. Beloved grandfather to Sabrina, Devin, Joshua (Michelle), James, Rocco, and Isabella. Treasured great-grandfather of Maddisin and Lucas. Predeceased by his parents Pietro and Anna, brothers Antonio and Giovanni. Survived by his sister-in-law, Franca. John was an electrician by trade, co-owning the Fort Erie House of Lights and operating Gianfrancesco Electric for 40 years. He was a proud member of IBEW 303. Visitation will be held at Benner Funeral Services on Friday, December 28th, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Michael's Catholic Church on Saturday, December 29th at 11 am. Rite of Committal to follow at Greenwood Cemetery If so desired, a donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Diabetes Association, or a charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.
