Obituary of Kathleen Elizabeth Dickson

Dickson : Kathleen Kathy was surrounded by her loving family when she passed away in her 69th year on Tuesday November 20th, 2018 at the Douglas Memorial Hospital. Beloved wife for 49 years of Charlie. Proud mother of Jennifer (Jamie) Richard, Scott (Melanie) and Marjorie Dickson. Loving grandmother to Emma, Hannah, Jack, Duke, Zain, Zak and Zia. Sadly missed by her brother Ted Ogilvie, her best friend Jackie Denham and her many dear and wonderful friends and cherished nieces and nephews. Kathy was the owner and founder of Niagara Blinds with husband Charlie. She helped run the family business at Ogilvie Chiropractic Clinic as well as Sales and Promotion at Phillips Life Line and Registered Massage Therapist Practice since 2001. She enjoyed winters with her Florida friends and overlooking the Niagara River from her beloved front porch. Her greatest joy in this life was spending time with her family and her and Charlies 7 grandchildren. The family extend a special Thank You to Dr. Scher, the Douglas Memorial Hospital Staff and to Colleen Bredin and nurses at the Walker Cancer Center. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., entrusted with arrangements. Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday November 28th at noon followed by a reception at Bridgewater Country Club until 4 pm. If considering acts of remembrance, donations to the Brain Injury Association of Fort Erie or the Breast Cancer Research Society would be appreciated.
