Obituary of Diane Sylvesta Athoe

Athoe: Diane 'nee Woehl' Diane passed peacefully at the Douglas Memorial Hospital on October 29th, 2018 surrounded by her family and love. She is predeceased by her husband George. Beloved mother of Tara (Shawn) MacKinnon, Gary (Dale) Athoe, Greg (Barb) Athoe and Barb (Carmen) Grisafi. Cherished gramma of Clark, Meaghan, Jennifer, Tanya, Jordan, Adam, Paul, C.J. and Jonathon and proud great grandmother of Landon and Ava. Sadly missed by siblings Cheryl (Larry) Barkley, Bob (Barb) Woehl and Richard (Darlene) Woehl. Also survived by sister in law Brenda Benner, nieces and nephews Krissy, Scott, Stephen, Collin, Amie, Briar and Ryan. Predeceased by brother Doug Woehl. Special thanks to Dr. Scher and the Douglas Memorial Hospital Nursing Staff. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Friday November 2nd from 2-4 & 7-9. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday morning at 11 o'clock. If so desired, donations to the Douglas Memorial Hospital Auxiliary dedicated to the Palliative Care area or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
