Obituary of Norman Lang Pring

Pring: Norman September 2nd, 1924 – December 1st, 2011 Norm Passed away peacefully in his sleep at the Douglas Memorial Hospital on Thursday December 1st, 2011. He leaves his loving wife and best friend for 59 years Marion, adored daughters Rebecca (Scott) Burridge and Jane (Brian) Moore. His wonderful grandchildren, Katie (Chris), Matthew (Susan), Stephen and Brittany and his precious great granddaughters Brielle and Raya. Predeceased by his son Jeffrey (1980), his parents, his brother Elmore and sister Annah Chisholm. Norman was a dedicated educator all of his adult life. He was a graduate of McMaster University (1947). He taught at Goderich Collegiate and Fort Erie Secondary School, where he became Principal in 1961 until his retirement in 1981. He enjoyed many years of travel with Marion. Bridge, golf, boating, reading and many activities kept him busy right up until his passing. The family will receive friends at St. Paul’s Anglican Church (32 Idylewylde St) on Saturday December 10th from 10 am until the time of services to celebrate his life at 11 am.
