Obituary of Remo Tontodonati

Remo passed away surrounded by his family at the Douglas Memorial Hospital on November 20, 2012. Loving husband of 53 years to Vilma (nee Masotti). Proud father of John and Diana (John) MacKay. Cherished brother of Lido (Linda) and Olimpia and much loved brother in law of Silvana (Ermis) Pontello and Linda Masotti. Remo will be fondly remembered by nieces and nephews, Bob (Colleen), Barb (Jim), Brian (Karen), Bill (Maria), Morris (Yolanda), David (Sonia) and Brian. Predeceased by his son Dan, sisters Lidia and Maria, brother Emidio and niece Rita. Remo was employed for over 43 years with R.J. McDermott Plumbing and Heating and will be sadly missed by his many friends and extended family. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. Cremation has taken place. Interment will occur at a later date. The family invite friends to share with them on Saturday November 24th from 9:30 am until the time of Services to celebrate Remo`s life which will be held in the Benner Funeral Chapel at 11 o’clock. To help keep Remo’s spirit of giving alive, the family ask that rather then send flowers or donations, that you do a kind gesture for another individual.
