I remember as a child that Keith was a very loving and caring person, when i went to Park ave. School in Mount Pearl in maybe Grade 3 or 4 out teachers took us to the museum where my uncle keith worked, i was so proud to tell all my classmates that he was my uncle and he achknowledged me in the crowd of my fellow classmates that i was his newphew, before i left the mesum that day he followed me outside and gave me a $2 bill, i still remember it like it was yesterday, as the years went by he always made it special to make a visit tio our home growing up and always had eciting stories to tell or would say something that always made you laugh, my mother always spoke so highly of kieth and how much she love him was very easy to see through her talks with him i'v been there to listen, i even remember as a child during hard times growing up uncle kieth would bring my mother somethings during hard times and helped her as much as he could emotionally through talking over the years, he is dearly loved my me and all my family and we will always remember him as a very kind, caring and loving man that spoke so gentle and loved everyone around him..... kieth will be always in our families minds and always loved by all of us and never forgotten....

My thoughts and prayers go out to all the Bursey family. Although key was only a cousin to me, he felt more like an uncle. I will always remember the stories key and my dad, Cyril Bursey shared about their adventures in Toronto. He will forever have a special in my heart. I don't want to say goodbye, but rather see you later. I love you forever.

Uncle Caleb was one of the most Friendly people I've meet in my life time. I have many memories of him from when i was a child. The one that stands out the most for me is the easter he spent at our house after his sister my grandmother had passed away. My brother and myself where very sad and had a tought time with the passing of our nan so Uncle Caleb hid easter egs all throught out the house. It was a happy moment in a sad time that really made a diffrence to me and I'll never forget it. For that i am truly thankful Uncle Caleb may you rest in peace.

Uncle Cal or Uncle Keith as I called him had a profound affect on me as a child. One day when I was maybe ten or twelve years old I came home from school for lunch and I was having caned spagetti with slice bread for my lunch. This was my earliest memory of my Uncle. He asked me if I ever had real spagetti and I told him no. He said that it was easy to make and that one day he would show me and true to his word he showed be how to make real spagetti. I never ate canned spagetti again. Another memory was that he asked me what kind of books I read and at that time I never read any. He started to tell me about all of the great books that he had read. He told me about all of the elements that made up a great story. Like the plot, characters, conflict between characters and so on. From then on I went to the library all the time. Not just because he opened up my mind to reading but because I wanted to impress him also. I had lived a simple life in rural Newfoundland but my Uncle Keith opened up my mind and eyes to the world behond the shores of Newfoundland through his own life experiences and wisdom. We talked about everything from religion politics, and family and friends. We shared our triumphs and our regrets in life. The world is a better place young Caleb Bursey because you lived in it. God bless you and your family.

As a friend, there was no one dearer or kinder than Cal. A gentle man who lived by example for those of us (and there were many) in need of an "example"! Cal with his unique Nfld accent, Cal with is ever-present 'Timmies' and Cal who could tear up the dance floor like no other. We will miss you Cal, you touched our hearts. Keeping his family in our thoughts and hearts at this time.
